Emmerdale spoilers for next week: Kev threatens to kill love rival Aaron and five other explosive twists

Dark forces are at play in Emmerdale spoilers next week as another week of intense drama kicks off.

The Dales latest love triangle takes a sinister turn when Kev threatens to end Aaron’s life unless he leaves Robert alone. Mack vows to fight Aaron’s corner in his war against Kev, but has he underestimated who he’s dealing with?

Meanwhile, Dylan and April have the chance to free themselves from Ray and Celia’s clutches, but do they have enough time? Jai is being his usual mean-spirited self when he fires Kerry from the Depot, and tensions are high at The Mill as Ruby and Caleb clash over what to with Anya.

There’s romance on the horizon for Laurel, and Ross makes an unlikely buddy. But something tells us this friendship isn’t going to last very long.

Here are our top six Emmerdale spoilers next week…

1. Kev threatens to murder love rival Aaron

Robert’s secret marriage to Kev has been exposed after Aaron caught them kissing, and no one is happy! Chas confronts Aaron and lambasts him about his treatment of poor Vinny. She demands he says sorry to Vinny, then grills Aaron for details on his latest fight with Robert.

Meanwhile, Kev has daggers for Aaron when he sees him walking past on Main Street. He’s hasn’t forgiven Aaron for outing him to the village and wants him out of the way. Tensions are high during an encounter between Robron in the cafe, and outside Kev is in approached by DS Carter. She wants to talk to him a friend of his, who was recently attacked. But did Kev do it?

Later in the pub, Aaron is relieved when Vinny accepts his apology. But the peace is soon shattered by the arrival of Robert and Kev. Aaron tries his best to remain calm, but is devastated to realise Robert has told Kev about the abuse he suffered at the hands of dad Gordon. Chas is on hand to support her son, who’s heartbroken that Robert could have shared such personal information.

Aaron then returns to Mill Flat, where’s confronted by Kev, who threatens to kill him unless he keeps out of his marriage. Robert is alarmed when Aaron tells him about the death threat and knows the dark things Kev is capable of. He confronts his husband and is relieved when Kev shuts Aaron down.

Later, Aaron confides in Mack about Kev. He’s furious for his friend and vows to help fight Aaron’s corner. But has Mack signed his own death warrant by taking on someone as unhinged as Kev?

2. Emmerdale spoilers: Dylan and April plan their great escape

The pressure of juggling two jobs is starting to get to Dylan. In a hurry to get back to the Depot, he’s forced to do a handover with Ray in the middle of the village. The teen’s lax attitude angers Ray, as he warns Dylan of the huge debt he and April still owe.

Ray narrowly avoids getting caught red-handed by DS Carter. Seeing her across the street, Ray quickly hides the backpack of gears behind a wall. After their conversation, DS Carter watches Ray leaving, meaning he’s unable to retrieve his loot. The bag soon ends up in the wrong hands when Ross picks it up, thinking it belongs to Vinny.

When Ray realises his stash of drugs is inside Dale View, he orders Dylan to retrieve it. Dylan waits until Vinny is distracted before swiping his keys.

Meanwhile, April’s terror continues when Ray asks her to meet with one of his clients. The thought of having to entertain this man makes her feel sick, but April is forced to follow orders. Dylan later senses April’s unease, but she lies, insisting everything is fine.

With the coast finally clear, Dylan gets into Dale View to look for Ray’s gear. He emerges empty-handed and Ray is furious. However, it turns out that Dylan has got the bag. And a secret plan. Meeting with April on Main Street, Dylan shows her a wad of money and reveals it’s enough for them to escape Ray and Celia once and for all. The young lovers set about planning their getaway, but are interrupted by a video message from Ray.

Can they still make a break for it?

3. Jai tells Kerry: “You’re fired!”

Kerry’s week gets off to a bad start when she’s late for work and gets a ticking off from Jai. Then a call comes through from Matty to say the coroner’s report into the limo crash has arrived.

Hoping the report will provide answers into Amy’s death, Kerry asks Billy if he’ll cover for her. She then heads over to David’s Shop, where Matty and Jacob are waiting. United in grief, the trio pour over the report.

Meanwhile, Kerry decides to try and  lift Matty’s spirits with a drinking game. But then Jai walks in and wrongly assumes Kerry has skipped work to go on a bender. Before Kerry even has the chance to explain herself, Jai points the finger and tells her she’s fired!

Next day, word reaches Caleb about Kerry’s sacking. He’s appalled that Jai would have acted in such haste without knowing the full story and demands he re-hires Kerry. Jai doesn’t want to, but Caleb forces him to issue a formal apology to Kerry. She’s victorious, but Jai feels humiliated and belittled.

Later at The Woolpack, Kerry can’t resist gloating. Jai snaps back, labelling her victory “pyrrhic”, and vows to make her work life a total misery. Jai stays true to his word, and acts like a total pig until Kerry snaps and tells him to stick his job. But events take a surprise turn when the warring duo find themselves trapped inside the Depot office after the door handle breaks.

With no way out, Kerry and Jai are trapped together until someone comes to their rescue. Will this time alone make them see one another in a new light?

4. Ruby and Caleb clash over Anya in Emmerdale spoilers

Caleb and Ruby are at odds over their new houseguest Anya. She wants to continue to give the vulnerable foreigner refuse at The Mill, but Caleb wants Anya gone.

Not wanting to invite more trouble into their lives, Caleb tells Anya it’s time she moved on. But when Ruby catches Anya packing, she knows it’s because of Caleb. She puts her foot down and tells her husband that Anya isn’t going anywhere. Caleb tries to fight back, but it’s no use because Ruby just won’t listen.

Later, Caleb returns home and is exasperated by Anya’s presence. Another row breaks out in the kitchen between Caleb and Ruby, while embarrassed Anya is stuck in the middle, feeling as if she’s outstayed her welcome.

Next day, Ruby and Caleb are ready for another round when they discover Anya has packed up and left. Caleb thinks it’s for the best, but Ruby can’t believe he would be so cruel. After taking a bit of time out, Caleb realises he may have been too harsh on Anya. He says sorry to Ruby and asks if they can draw a line under the whole business. But will she forgive him that easily? And is the last they’ve seen of Anya?

5. Ray and Laurel go on their first date

Laurel continues to be taken in by smooth-talking Ray as she agrees to go for a drink with him. Could romance be on the horizon?
