Robert’s world is rocked by the arrival of his prison acquaintance, Kev. It appears the pair may have been more than mates during their time behind bars, which could spell trouble for Robron. Is Kev going to derail their long-awaited reunion? Meanwhile, Gabby could be about to discover Vinny’s secret after she arrives at court to watch him testify against Mike. April is ready to grass Ray up to the cops after Leo falls victim to their dangerous drugs operation. And Charity’s baby lie is under threat when Mack grows suspicious. Robert gets a blast from the past Robert is rattled after the mysterious text message he received last week. It was from someone he clearly knows, but what do they want from him? article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Meanwhile, there’s a new face in the Dales when a man called Kev is seen asking for directions. Played by former EastEnders star Chris Coghill, Kev has a connection to one of the locals – a certain Mr Sugden. Robert is stunned when he answers the door of Keepers and sees Kev standing there. He ushers him inside, but not before checking that no one has seen them together. Face-to-face with this man from his past, Kev is revealed to be someone who Robert knows from his time in prison. It’s obvious the pair have a deep connection too as they clutch one another’s hands. Victoria arrives back and witnesses their intimate exchange. She’s shocked and wants to know why her brother is getting cosy with a man who’s not Aaron. Could Kev’s arrival spell trouble for Emmerdale’s most adored couple? Nervous Vinny takes the stand (Credit: ITV) 2. Vinny faces Mike in court in Emmerdale spoilers It’s a big week for Vinny as he prepares to face his fears and testify against Mike in court. Vinny is determined to see his attacker punished for his crimes, but doesn’t want to risk Gabby finding out. This sadly could be inevitable when Vinny is informed the defence are planning to call Gabby as a witness. Vinny lies to his wife about the nature of the court case, then decides against testifying. While all this is going on, plans are in motion for Vinny to formally adopt Thomas. Kim is against the idea, and fears it will erase her son Jamie (Thomas’s biological father) from the lad’s life. Vinny and Mandy work together to talk Kim round, but as the family toast to their future, Mike arrives on the scene. Mike is after Gabby’s money, so Vinny offers him a deal. He promises to destroy the prosecution against him, on the condition he leaves Gabby alone. Mike agrees to the terms, but it’s all a trick. Vinny has decided he’s going to tell the truth in court and get rid of the vile thug. After lying to Gabby (yet again!) about what’s bothering him, Vinny heads to court. He takes the stand and starts telling the jury what Mike did. But just as Vinny is about to come clean about his sexuality struggles, he looks up to see Gabby entering the public gallery. Will he keep quiet? Or is Gabby about to discover her husband’s secret? April realises she almost killed Leo (Credit: ITV) 3. April puts Leo’s life in danger April is struggling with the stress of her new double life. Her family think she’s studying hard at school, unaware April has been recruited by Ray to work as his full-time drug dealer. Ray’s latest job for April is shifting gear to university students. Dylan is appalled when he finds his girlfriend hanging around the student halls and begs Ray to let April go. But his pleas fall on deaf ears as Ray uses emotional blackmail to get his way. Over at Smithy Cottage, April is supposed to be looking after Leo for Rhona. But her babysitting duties are interrupted with another request from Ray. April rushes out of the house, accidentally dropping some pills from her bag in the hurry. She arrives home to a scene of devastation as Leo is being loaded into an ambulance after consuming her drugs. At the hospital, Leo is examined by the medical team while the police and social services are informed of the incident. April is heartbroken at the damage she’s caused and Rhona knows straight away she’s behind it. Her stepdaughter is about to confess, but panics when the police arrive. Later, April tells Dylan she wants out, but Ray isn’t going to let her go that easily. What will he do to keep her close? Charity pretends to Mack that everything is fine (Credit: ITV) 4. Mack suspects Charity in Emmerdale spoilers As Sarah’s excitement about the baby grows, so does Charity’s guilt. Last week, Charity underwent a secret DNA test to find out whether she’s carrying Ross’s baby. She’s fears the results could blow her whole family apart. When Sarah brings up the subject of the pregnancy, Charity tries to act all normal. The last thing she wants is for Sarah to suspect there’s something wrong. But Mack senses his wife isn’t being honest about how she feels. Mack queries his wife’s behaviour, asking if she’s worried that Sarah is getting ahead of herself. But instead of discussing it, Charity quickly changes the subject. Charity seems intent on burying her head in the sand, but there’s surely trouble ahead. Chas already suspects her cousin after witnessing Charity’s clandestine chat with Ross, and Mack can also see she’s not behaving normally. Will he force a confession out of her? And if Mack does find out the truth, can he ever forgive Charity? Celia plays a cruel joke on Paddy (Credit: ITV) 5. Also in Emmerdale spoilers We’re still not sure about Celia. Just when we think she’s got a good heart underneath the spiky exterior she goes and does something that’s downright horrible. This week, it’s poor Paddy who finds himself in the farmer’s firing line. Celia scares the vet by making a cruel joke about his dog attack. Viewers will recall Paddy required hospital treatment after being set upon by a savage mutt on Celia’s land. Moira does not see the funny side of Celia’s jibe and orders her to make things right. Cunning Celia is able to charm Paddy into forgiving her, and she also succeeds in catching Bob’s eye. Will Celia be charmed by the serial marrier?
