Armed with enough money to make a fresh start, Dylan suggests to April that they run away together. But will they manage to make it out of the village? Or is Ray about to foil their escape plan? DS Carter wants a word with Ray (Credit: ITV) Ray is questioned by the police in Emmerdale spoilers Dylan and April have been dragged into the dark world of child exploitation by mother and son duo Celia and Ray. The wicked pair are now attempting to lure April into prostitution, while using Dylan’s job at the Depot as an opportunity to further their illegal dealings. It’s becoming increasingly difficult for Dylan to juggle his two lives, and he’s desperate not to blow his chance for a fresh start. Next week, Dylan tells Ray they’ll have to a handover in the middle of the village because he’s in a rush to get back to the Depot. Ray is annoyed by the teen’s casual attitude and menacingly warns Dylan of the ginormous debt he and April still have to work off. Moments later, Ray is spotted by DS Carter while she’s questioning Kev about another matter. Thrown into panic to see the policewoman, Ray quickly hides the backpack Dylan gave him behind a wall and heads over to speak to her. After their conversation, DS Carter watches Ray leaving and he’s unable to retrieve his loot. Ross sees Ray’s rucksack lying nearby, and not realising who it belongs to, he takes it into the house. Ray later realises the whereabouts of his bag. His attempt to retrieve is thwarted by Ross, so Ray demands Dylan do his dirty work for him. Dylan tries to charm his way into Dale View but when Vinny doesn’t let him in he’s forced to think of another plan. Later on, while Vinny is distracted the shop, Dylan pretends to buy a bunch of flowers and secretly swipe his keys. Meanwhile, April feels sick when Ray asks if she’ll meet up with one of his male clients. The thought of it makes April feel comprised and afraid, but she fears she has no choice but to follow orders. Afterwards April runs into Dylan, and the young lovers hide their anxieties. Dylan starts to sense that something is bothering April, but she insists everything is fine. Can April and Dylan run before Ray finds them? Afterwards, Dylan meets with April on Main Street and reveals he’s the truth. He’s found Ray’s rucksack and stolen all the money inside, meaning they have enough to start again somewhere else. But just as the pair are planning their getaway, they receive a video message from Ray with further instruction. Can they get away from him? Or is it already too late?
