Meanwhile Perdy, Gray and Perdy make baby plans, while Jonny and Paul’s wedding plans hit a snag. And Marlon and Donna are still arguing! These episodes originally aired in October and November 2007. Perdy and Gray make baby plans Paddy tells Chas he’s worried about what could have happened to Rosemary so the pair start doing some digging. When they find out that Rosemary left all her belongings in the village, they’re even more concerned and they call the police. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Gray tells Paddy to run the vet’s while Rosemary is away. He also tells him that if he really suspected something had happened to Rosemary he’d go all out to find her. But later he tells Katie he feels torn between Perdy and Rosemary. Perdy s nervous about going to hospital to have her eggs harvested for the surrogacy and delays the procedure. She apologises to Gray, and tells him she’s worried the village gossips will make life difficult for Katie. Gray suggests that they ask Katie to move in with them so they can look after her. Gray lavishes attention on Katie and Perdy worries (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock) Matthew still loves Perdy Matthew’s worried about Perdy when he finds out she’s been in hospital. He goes to see her and tells her he thinks Gray and Katie are having an affair. Matthew is stunned when Perdy reveals that Katie is going to be their surrogate! He warns her she’s making a big mistake. Perdy is surprised to realise how deep Matthew’s feelings are for her. Determined to stop the surrogacy, Matthew tells Katie about his fling with Perdy. Katie wonders if she’s doing the right thing and when Matthew offers Katie double the cash to back out! Torn, Katie talks to Gray, who persuades her to stick to their plan. Later, Perdy apologises to Katie for being irritable with her. Katie finds herself agreeing to go through with the insemination the following day. The next day, Katie goes in for the implantation and then moves in with Perdy and Gray at Mill Cottage. But Perdy is worried that Gray is becoming obsessed with the pregnancy. She’s not happy with Matthew either, when she finds out he tried to bribe Katie not to go through with the surrogacy. Later, though Perdy is jealous when she sees Gray tenderly kissing a sleeping Katie’s forehead. Jonny makes wedding plans Jonny wants to start making wedding plans. Paul is non-committal but Jonny takes matters into his own hands. He goes to see Ashley who agrees to hold a special ceremony for them, even though he can’t do the real civil partnership. Emily doesn’t approve and tells Bishop George, who also agrees that it is inappropriate to bless a gay union in church. Ashley has to retract his offer to a disappointed Jonny after Bishop George lays down the law. Jonny and Paul are worried the village is gossiping about them. Paul gets close to Gray – again! Worried Rodney speaks to Paul, but he doesn’t admit his secret doubts to his dad. Jonny goes off for a night out and Paul goes to the pub where he meets a drunken Grayson drowning his sorrows after yet another altercation with Matthew. The pair end up back at Mill Cottage and drunkenly have sex. But Paul is crushed when he realises that Gray doesn’t have any feelings for him and when Jonny returns home, a sobbing Paul confesses what he’s been up to! Meanwhile, Perdy is jealous of the attention that Gray is giving Katie and suggests their surrogate might not even be pregnant. Gray is angry and Perdy later apologises. But by then Gray has returned from his night with Paul and he feels guilty about her apology! At Mill Cottage, Jonny is devastated by Paul’s betrayal and refuses to forgive him. He plans to leave the village, but Nicola encourages her brother not to let him go. Paul begs Jonny not to leave, but Jonny drives away. A genuinely gutted – and relieved – Paul is delighted when Jonny returns and tells him that he’ll give him one last chance. But later, Jonny confronts Gray in the pub toilets. He punches him warns him to stay away from Paul. Jamie and Louise are on the rocks There’s trouble between Jamie and Louise after the stag night mix-up despite his efforts to make amends. Jamie is rattled when Louise charms Rodney’s guests at the pub, and rattled when Terry teases him about the age gap between him and Louise. On a mission to impress Louise, Jamie goes wine tasting with Amelia. But they get tipsy and Amelia tries to seduce Jamie! He insists that Louise is the love of his life, but when a drunk Jamie returns home and is secretive about his whereabouts, Louise fears he’s cheating. The next day, Jamie arranges another wine-tasting session and makes excuses when Louise asks him to collect firewood for the bonfire. Determined to find out what’s going on, Louise sees Jamie with Amelia and immediately assumes they are having an affair. She is gutted that Jamie has ‘cheated’ on her and she refuses to believe his explanations. Deciding to move on, Louise arranges a date with another man. Jamie is devastated. Next day, Louise admits to Terry that she had a disastrous date and she is surprised when he later brings Amelia to see her. Amelia explains to Louise that she tried to kiss Jamie but he turned her down and Louise realises she has made a big mistake! She begs Jamie to take her back but he refuses, telling her he can’t be with a woman who won’t trust him. Donna stands up for herself Donna and Ross are called to a robbery. Two kids in Halloween outfits do a runner from the scene and Donna chases one down an alley but she hurts her arm when the kid throws a brick at her. Later Marlon accuses Ross of not doing enough to protect Donna, but Donna is angry that Marlon has interfered. When Donna learns that the teenage sister of an old schoolfriend has gone missing she convinces Ross to help him look for her. But Ross calls off the search after only an hour as the girl has been missing for less than a day. Donna is annoyed that he’s sticking to the rules, so she moans about Ross to a secretly delighted Marlon. Donna manages to track down the missing girl on her own. But she refuses to go to the police station so Donna takes her home. She leaves her alone while she goes to the police station and when she bumps into Ross she’s forced to explain what she’s done. When the pair return to Tall Trees, they’re shocked to discover that the girl has done a runner – with some of Donna’s things! Donna goes to her interview Donna’s confidence has been knocked by Marlon constantly questioning her and she is beginning to wonder if she should go for her police interview. But when the pair have another row, Donna has a dramatic change of heart and marches off to her interview – which she passes with flying colours! Marlon congratulates her but when he asks her again whether she’s carrying on with Ross, Donna’s furious. Later, Ross’s ex-girlfriend Kirsty returns to the village. Marlon’s pleased but Donna warns him they’re not going to get back together and he needs to stop obsessing that she’s going to get it on with Ross. But later, Ross and Kirsty have a big talk and although Kirsty is worried Ross has feelings for Donna, they decide to reunite. Is Miles De Souza still drinking? Jasmine tracks down Miles De Souza’s ex-girlfriend in an attempt to find out more about Miles and she is given an address for him. Nicola persuades David to help her scupper Miles’s chances of inheriting his dad’s wealth. David agrees – for 10% of the cash! Meanwhile Jasmine finds Miles and discovers that he’s still drinking. She asks him to Miles to visit his dying father but he refuses. Later David and Nicola witness Miles swigging whisky and are delighted he’s playing into their hands. Viv’s book launch is a disaster! Viv’s book launch is a disaster and she ends up bribing the customers with free booze. Meanwhile, Bob’s busy secretly paying the pensioners to buy a copy. The next day, Viv is downhearted and grumpy, and rude to a man called Freddie who turns up for the launch a day late. Luckily, Freddie ignores Viv’s bad mood and instead offers her a job working for his children’s charity! Debbie meets a handsome stranger Debbie runs out of petrol on a country lane, but she’s not pleased when a handsome stranger stops to help. The helpful stranger drives off but he returns after a crisis of conscience and insists on helping her out. Debbie agrees, and later she gets a bunch of flowers from him. The next day, Debbie goes on a date with the stranger – Sean. They have a good time together and hit the casino. But Sean wants to meet Debbie’s family, and she’s nervous about introducing him to the Dingles! Diane goes to support Victoria in court, but Victoria doesn’t want anything to do with her (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock) Andy and Victoria face the music Victoria and Andy are both due in court over the fire. Andy makes his Crown Court appearance, while Victoria is heading to Youth Court the following day. But later she receives nasty anonymous text messages telling her she’ll go to prison. Jack’s upset to see his family falling apart. As the day of the court case dawns, Victoria goes missing. Jack’s relieved when she finally turns up, having been to visit her mother’s grave. At court, it’s good news when the judge rules that Victoria’s case can be heard in Youth Court. Her solicitor tells her chances are she won’t get a custodial sentence. When Diane turns up to offer her support, Jack thanks her, but Victoria wants nothing to do with her.
